We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and support high-performance, low-latency financial transaction systems. You will work with Java 17/21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, databases, messaging, Docker, and AWS to build secure, scalable, and highly available payment platforms.

Experience in payment processing, transaction switching, or financial services is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications and services.
• Develop backend services using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JMS, and SQL.
• Build and optimize high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
• Translate business requirements into robust and maintainable technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews and follow security and coding best practices.
• Support integration/UAT testing, production deployments, and troubleshooting.
• Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD, Docker, and AWS cloud deployments.
• Investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with technical leads, QA, DevOps, production support, and business teams.
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development and AI agent tools where appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, SQL/MySQL, and distributed systems.
• Experience with JMS/messaging, Docker, AWS, and CI/CD.
• Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, performance optimization, scalability, and resiliency.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Experience in payments, banking, or financial transaction systems is a strong advantage.

Pay: From $5,000.00 per month
