We are seeking a motivated Service Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to install, maintain, test, and repair marine engine onboard vessels and in our workshop. The role includes occasional travel for onboard servicing, surveys, and sea trials.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair marine engine equipment
• Perform onboard servicing and attend sea trials to verify equipment functionality and compliance
• Diagnose equipment faults and implement effective solutions to minimize vessel downtime
• Prepare detailed service reports, test certificates, and technical documentation for client and regulatory use
• Liaise with clients, classification societies, and equipment manufacturers to coordinate service and compliance activities
• Maintain accurate records of service jobs, spare parts usage, and equipment history for operational transparency
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians to enhance team capability

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience servicing marine engine
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues efficiently
• Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
