ICT / Telecom Technical Lead – Data Centre

Location: Singapore – fully on-site

Employment: Permanent

Salary: Competitive / dependent on experience

RCDD-qualified ICT/Telecom professional wanted for a technically demanding owner-side programme supporting complex design reviews, RFIs and network integration across multiple engineering disciplines. You’ll sit at the point where telecom, security, controls and core building services meet — resolving issues before they become programme blockers.

About the role

You’ll provide ICT/Telecom programme and project support across live design and delivery workstreams, working closely with Owner, AEC and internal technical stakeholders.

The focus is on design assurance, cross-discipline coordination, technical issue resolution and converged network integration rather than cost management or BIM model production.

Key responsibilities

• Review ICT gPOR / Product designs and provide clear technical comments.
• Resolve Owner- and AEC-generated ICT questions and RFIs.
• Coordinate ICT requirements across Telecom, Security, Controls, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural and Civil disciplines.
• Identify and resolve clashes, interfaces and design coordination issues.
• Escalate telecom scope decisions where unresolved issues are affecting programme.
• Review and implement best practice for converged network allocations across products.
• Support ICT network integration reviews and project evaluations.
• Contribute to specification updates and technical issue responses.
• Support telecom quantity take-off best practice using Revit.
• Work within project systems including ACC / BIM360, trackers and technical documentation platforms.

Requirements

• RCDD certified, or currently working under an RCDD-certified professional.
• Strong ICT / Telecom design, engineering or project delivery background.
• Experience reviewing designs, answering RFIs and coordinating technical requirements across multiple disciplines.
• Good understanding of structured cabling, telecom infrastructure and converged network environments.
• Able to challenge designs, identify technical risks and drive issues through to resolution.
• Comfortable operating within complex Owner / consultant / AEC stakeholder environments.

Desirable background

Experience within large-scale, technically complex environments such as data centres, hyperscale infrastructure, mission-critical facilities, major technology campuses or advanced commercial developments would be highly relevant.

Exposure to Revit, ACC / BIM360, ICT specifications, network integration, telecom quantity take-offs or multidisciplinary design reviews would also be useful.
