Responsibilities
About the role
You will support the planning, coordination and delivery of property development projects, working with internal teams, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on time and in line with project requirements.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines and budgets for assigned development projects
Coordinate with internal teams including design, architecture, engineering and construction to ensure alignment with project objectives
Monitor project progress and performance against established milestones and KPIs
Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and propose effective solutions
Liaise with external stakeholders, contractors, consultants and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth project execution
Prepare and present progress reports and project documentation to senior management
Support feasibility studies and site analysis for new development opportunities
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, planning requirements and company standards throughout project lifecycle
Collaborate on value engineering initiatives to optimise project costs and quality
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Construction Management or related discipline
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in project planning, project development or project management within the property development or construction industry
Strong knowledge of project planning methodologies, tools and software (such as Microsoft Project or Primavera)
Excellent understanding of Malaysian building regulations, planning requirements and development approval processes
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software
Experience in urban design, master planning or mixed-use development projects is highly desirable
Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) is an advantage
