Support and manage various cybersecurity platforms, support infrastructure and systems
Drive system improvements and enhancements that will improve system performance, effectiveness and security
Address and remediation system vulnerabilities detected
Develop and maintain operational documentation, including SOPs for patching, upgrades, onboarding of assets and routine maintenance.
Log and manage support cases with vendors and maintenance contractors, including coordinating troubleshooting sessions and driving resolution.
Take full ownership of assigned incidents and tasks, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
Perform periodic system health checks, and work with 3rd party contractors responsible for comprehensive maintenance to review, address and resolve system alerts, error and issues detected
Perform system activities when required, including patching, plug-in updates and other system maintenance.
Perform Capacity Management, Asset and Configuration Management, Account and Access Management, Change Management, Backup Management and Security Management of the assigned systems
Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, client requirements, and documentation standards.
Perform stand-by after office hours
Support Major Operational Events such as power maintenance, DR exercises
Requirements
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT/cybersecurity operations, managed services, and/or system management. Exposure to public sector, large local enterprises, local CII and/or global enterprises is an advantage.
Operational Expertise: Experience and knowledge in system administration, asset and configuration management, change management, account and asset management, backup management, capacity management, vulnerability management and system health checks.
Technical Knowledge: Good system administration competencies in cybersecurity solutions in at least one of the following domains:
Infrastructure Security
Endpoint Security
Data Security
Security Governance
Security Analytics or Security Operation Centre (SOC)
Access and Identity
Certifications:
Required – at least one security vendor product certification at intermediate level, ITIL Foundation or basic certification in cybersecurity (including ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, CompTIA Security+)
Advantaged – security vendor product certifications at advanced level
Experience working with vendor support and managing escalation processes.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide clear updates to clients.
Basic project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Customer-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Willingness to be on standby after support hours as part of operational requirements.
