Role Description This full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Engineer role is based in Jasin. We are looking for a hands-on Quality & Process Engineer to support our Lead Frame Etching production, responsible for ensuring product and process quality from incoming materials through pre-wash, dry film lamination, exposure, development, etching and final inspection. The role requires strong ability to read and interpret lead frame engineering drawings, identify critical dimensions and quality requirements, perform hands-on inspections and measurements, analyze process-related defects, conduct root-cause analysis and work closely with production, process engineering and customers to drive quality improvement, yield enhancement and successful product qualification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Mechatronics, Quality Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on QA/QC experience in precision manufacturing, semiconductor, lead frame, stamping or etching industries.
• Strong ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings, including dimensions, tolerances and critical-to-quality requirements.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional inspection and measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of SPC, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, 8D and corrective actions.
• Experience in Copper Lead Frame, chemical etching, dry film/photoresist or semiconductor manufacturing will be a strong advantage.
