Job Summary

Prepare and maintain key accounting schedules and support financial reporting and project accounting activities to ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), fixed asset, and intercompany schedules to ensure accurate financial records
• Assist with project accounting by preparing supporting schedules for month-end closing to facilitate timely reporting
• Prepare schedules and documentation to support Group consolidation and financial reporting processes for compliance and accuracy
• Perform account reconciliations and analysis during month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure data integrity
• Execute ad-hoc accounting and finance tasks as assigned to support operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold LCCI, Diploma in Accounting, or other relevant accounting qualifications
• Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Possess strong experience in full-set accounting and financial closing processes
• Apply good knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry is an added advantage
• Exhibit strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
