Role Description The IT & Software Development Intern will support Attend Care Australia’s technology operations and digital solutions on-site at the Melbourne, VIC office. This contract role involves assisting with network monitoring, basic system administration tasks, and troubleshooting technical issues for internal users. The intern will help maintain secure and reliable IT infrastructure, document technical procedures, and contribute to improvements in IT processes. Day-to-day work may include supporting software updates, testing simple features or integrations, and coordinating with the care and administrative teams to resolve IT-related issues. The role offers practical experience in a healthcare-focused environment, working under the supervision of experienced IT staff.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess foundational skills in Information Technology and basic understanding of software development concepts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Security to support safe and reliable system operations.
• Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Customer Service to resolve user issues and communicate clearly with non-technical staff.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to follow documented procedures.
• Relevant coursework or training in IT, Computer Science, or related fields is beneficial; prior internship or project experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Melbourne, VIC, and an interest in the disability and healthcare sector are highly valued.
