Manage Shift Operations: Direct daily manufacturing line activities to meet production volumes, shipping schedules, and efficiency targets.
Lead Floor Teams: Supervise, train, and motivate production operators and line leaders; manage attendance, rosters, and shift handovers.
Minimize Downtime: Monitor machinery performance and coordinate directly with maintenance teams for rapid troubleshooting.
Enforce 5S & Safety: Uphold strict workplace safety standards (OSHA compliance), correct PPE usage, and organized 5S shop floor conditions.
Control Quality & Waste: Monitor process deviations in real-time, execute immediate corrective actions, and minimize batch scrap.
Report KPIs: Compile and present daily production metrics, material consumption data, and output statistics to the Production Manager.
Job Requirements
Education:Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience:Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience on a manufacturing shop floor (experience with wiring harnesses, cables, or electronics is a strong advantage).
Technical Skills: Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and ERP systems (such as SAP).
Work Schedule: Must be willing to work on standard rotating day/night shift schedules and support weekend overtime when required.
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, sharp problem-solving capabilities under tight production deadlines, and clear communication skills.
