Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot complex network cabling, switches, and core lab IT infrastructure to ensure continuous uptime for validation environments.
- Monitor and manage localized storage servers and data repositories to safeguard engineering data and optimize system capacity.
- Track and optimize infrastructure inventory, tracking hardware assets, network components, and server allocations.
- Supervise real-time engineering file transfers, performing immediate failure triage and root-cause analysis for any transfer interruptions between internal networks and external partner/OSAT labs.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance, firmware updates, and health checks on lab servers, network switches, and backup storage systems.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for resolving escalated network connectivity issues, port configurations, and laboratory LAN installations.
- Collaborate closely with internal validation teams and external managed service partners to align IT infrastructure support with scaling lab requirements.
- Document technical network topologies, infrastructure changes, and standard troubleshooting procedures within central knowledge bases like SharePoint.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a highly related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4+ years of hands-on experience managing IT infrastructure, server environments, or localized networks (aligned with Tier 2 to Tier 3 resource expectations).
- Strong technical proficiency in network configuration, switch management, LAN installations, and structural cable troubleshooting.
- Proven experience with data storage systems, file transfer protocols, and automated monitoring systems.
- Direct familiarity with hardware tracking platforms and ticketing workflows such as ServiceNow or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, a methodical approach to system triage, and the ability to communicate technical updates clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
Additional Requirements
- Strong problem solving skill with software background to identify file transfer issues in whole E2E flow
- KQL/SQL Database query ( mandatory)
- Experience with file transfer automation scripts
- Fast Ramp up to able to use the tools and debug issues in below environment:
I. Azure Dev Ops pipeline execution
II. Infra environment: Azure Blob Storage, Shared drives, file system, file permission
III. basic programming ( powershell or python
IV. strong troubleshooting experience to identifies issues from script output logs file
- Able to work with IT team if scope due to IT related scope ( ex: network issue) and work together to resolve the issue
- Working knowledge in network traffic debugging is a must in this role
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
