Cambridge IGCSE 0478 | Part-Time

Tree Top International School is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging IGCSE Computer Science Teacher to join our Secondary teaching team on a part-time basis from January 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Cambridge IGCSE 0478 Computer Science.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Develop students' understanding of computational thinking, programming, algorithms, data representation and computer systems.
• Provide practical programming experiences and support students in applying concepts through problem-solving.
• Prepare assessments and guide students towards IGCSE examination readiness.
• Monitor and communicate student progress effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education or a related field.
• Teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE or equivalent is preferred.
• Relevant teaching and/or industry experience.
• Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science (0478) is strongly preferred.
• Sound knowledge of programming and the current Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science curriculum and assessment requirements.
