Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end data architectures, ensuring they align with business objectives, analytics goals, and AI/ML readiness.
• Architect seamless, scalable data extraction and ingestion pipelines from legacy enterprise systems (specifically SAP backends) into target cloud platforms and Databricks.
• Evaluate existing data landscapes and drive the transition of analytical workloads into modern data platforms.
• Establish and enforce enterprise data governance practices, including data lineage, data quality checks, metadata management, and compliance standards.
• Serve as the primary technical data advisor. Collaborate closely with clients, project teams, and business leaders to define target-state data architectures and drive platform adoption.

Profile

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics and Data Engineering.
• Proven track record architecting and building out enterprise lakehouse environments using Databricks, Apache Spark, and cloud-based data engineering platforms.
• Understanding of SAP as a source system, with extensive experience integrating complex SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP ERP data structures into modern analytics pipelines.
