The Role

We're hiring an Analytics Engineer to build the data foundation for Arki's next stage of growth — a hybrid role sitting between data engineering and analytics, with direct exposure to the CEO and senior management.

This is not primarily a dashboarding role. We need someone who can build the underlying data infrastructure, create trusted data models, and then use that data to answer important business questions.

What You'll Do

Build Arki's Data Foundation

• Design and maintain data pipelines connecting Arki's core systems — onboarding, transactions, investment accounts, portfolios, CRM, and product applications
• Develop and maintain a central analytics data warehouse
• Build reliable ETL/ELT workflows turning raw operational data into analysis-ready datasets
• Develop reusable data models for clients, accounts, transactions, portfolios, and products
• Establish clear definitions and a consistent source of truth for key business metrics
• Implement data-quality checks, monitoring, and reconciliation processes

Partner Directly With the CEO on Business Analytics

• Deliver regular and ad hoc analysis on client growth, funded-client conversion, AUM, gross/net inflows, withdrawals, retention, product adoption, revenue economics, and forecasting
• Go beyond reporting what happened — investigate why, and recommend what Arki should do about it

Understand Client Behaviour

• Analyse the customer journey from registration through onboarding, funding, investing, and ongoing engagement
• Build funnel and cohort analyses to see where clients convert, disengage, or deepen their relationship with Arki
• Develop segmentation based on behaviour, product usage, and financial characteristics

Support Product Development

• Partner with Product and Tech to define data requirements for new features, ensure proper event tracking, and measure feature adoption
• Help design and evaluate experiments; provide data-driven recommendations on user journeys and conversion

Build for the Future

• Lay the groundwork for predictive analytics, client propensity models, personalisation, and AI-enabled decision support down the line

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years in analytics engineering, data engineering, data analytics, or a related role
• Strong SQL and Python for data processing and analysis
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and designing analytical data models
• Experience with relational databases and modern cloud data warehouses
• Strong grasp of data quality, validation, and reconciliation
• Comfortable working independently with imperfect or evolving datasets
• Able to communicate technical findings clearly to senior, non-technical stakeholders
• Useful, not required: dbt, Airflow, Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift/Databricks, PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP/Azure, Tableau/Power BI/Looker/Metabase, Mixpanel/Amplitude, Git, API integrations
• Fintech, banking, wealth, or asset management experience is a plus, but candidates from consumer tech, e-commerce, or SaaS backgrounds are equally welcome.
