SALARY RANGE: RM5,000 - RM6,000

Responsibilities

The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating Cooling Tower assembly works at international client sites. Working closely with local subcontractors, this role ensures construction and installation activities are executed according to project plans, quality standards, safety regulations, and client expectations. The position requires frequent overseas travel, independent decision-making, and strong communication skills.

• Supervise and coordinate daily cooling tower assembly activities at overseas sites.
• Ensure subcontractors follow construction drawings, guidelines, timelines, and quality standards.
• Align on-site activities with project schedules and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Identify and manage site-related issues, escalating to the -based support team when required.
• Prepare and submit daily site reports and timesheets.
• Enforce adherence to safety practices and Seagull’s SOPs.
• Serve as the main on-site representative, maintaining professional communication with clients.
• Coordinate site logistics including material delivery and equipment mobilization.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience in mechanical or industrial projects.
• Experience supervising subcontractors on overseas construction/assembly projects preferred.
• Strong background in HVAC systems or cooling towers is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications (OSHA, site safety, project supervision) are a plus.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin (mandatory) for effective communication with subcontractors and clients.
• Ability to prepare reports using Microsoft Office tools.
• Physically fit, independent, proactive, and resourceful.
• Willingness to travel extensively and remain overseas for long periods.
• Must possess a valid passport.
