Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Developer / Application Management Support Specialist with 1–3 years of hands-on Avaloq development experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for Avaloq development and parameterization, application enhancements, configuration, build and release management, and technical support.

The role requires strong expertise in the Avaloq Core Platform, Avaloq ICE, and Configuration & Release Management, with the ability to work across teams, resolve complex technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvements in software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, customize, and enhance applications using the Avaloq Core Platform.
• Perform Avaloq development and parameterization based on business and technical requirements.
• Work with Avaloq ICE and support related development and integration activities.
• Manage application configuration, build, deployment, and release activities.
• Ensure adherence to established Configuration and Release Management processes and standards.
• Support Build Management and Design & Build Enablement activities.
• Analyse complex technical challenges and implement scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, and application support.
• Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement appropriate fixes.
• Drive improvements to software development processes, application quality, and team productivity.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to team members.
• Take ownership of technical decisions and contribute to solutions involving multiple teams.
• Understand evolving business requirements and translate them into actionable development solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt appropriate technologies and tools to improve software delivery and application performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience as an Avaloq Developer is mandatory.
• Strong experience in Avaloq Core Platform development and parameterization.
• Hands-on experience with Avaloq ICE.
• Advanced proficiency in Configuration & Release Management.
• Good understanding of Build Management and Design & Build Enablement.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working in Agile/software development environments.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

Certification

Avaloq Core Certified Professional (ACCP) – Preferred but optional.
