About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Operator to join the team at Yeo Brother Packaging Solutions Sdn. Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Ulu Tiram, Johor. As an Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing and assembly operations, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of our packaging solutions division. This position is essential to our ability to deliver high-quality products to our customers on time and within specification.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines

• Conducting routine maintenance checks and ensuring machinery is in proper working condition

• Inspecting products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

• Recording production data, machine readings and other relevant information accurately

• Performing assembly and packaging tasks as required, following detailed work instructions

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

• Troubleshooting minor equipment issues and reporting significant problems to supervisors

• Working collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and training programmes

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as an Operator in a manufacturing or assembly environment, ideally within packaging or similar production settings

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect products accurately and maintain quality standards

• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, work orders and safety procedures

• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and operate machinery safely for extended periods

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety

• Basic mathematical skills for recording and monitoring production data

• Experience with specific machinery relevant to packaging operations is desirable but not essential

• Flexibility to work shift patterns if required
