Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our account team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and assist in preparing financial reports. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.

• Reconcile bank statements and monitor company financial transactions.

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

• Prepare and submit tax forms and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Help with payroll processing and related financial documentation.

• Perform administrative tasks related to accounting, such as filing, data entry, and document management.

• Collaborate with other departments to gather and review financial data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 1 year of accounting or finance experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).

• Able to communicate in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia ensure smooth communication with the team.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pursuing or planning to pursue a professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.

• Familiarity with local tax laws and financial regulations.
