About The Company

The hiring company is a long-established local independent main contractor specializing in commercial and residential developments. Financially strong and highly reputable, they have a solid track record of completed projects alongside a strong pipeline of ongoing and upcoming developments. Currently, they are looking for a site-based Planner to drive project scheduling and execution for their high-rise projects within the Klang Valley.

About The Job

• Establish, update, and baseline the Master Construction Program using MS Project.
• Monitor on-site construction progress across structural, architectural, and M&E packages to ensure prompt project completion.
• Generate progress reports, S-Curves, manpower histograms, and project status updates for key stakeholders.
• Conduct critical path analysis, identify potential bottlenecks early, and recommend proactive catch-up plans.
• Assist in preparing contractual delay analysis, impact assessments, and documentation for Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Coordinate daily with the project management team, consultants, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure smooth sequencing.
  
  

About The Team

As the construction industry gains momentum, our client is expanding their team to meet the demands of newly secured high-rise developments. You will join an established, well-resourced main contractor, reporting directly to the Project Manager while taking ownership of the site planning function.

Skills And Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of site-based planning experience with a main contractor, with proven exposure to high-rise developments (commercial, residential, or mixed-use).
• Advanced hands-on proficiency in MS Project/ Primavera P6.
• Solid technical understanding of high-rise construction methodologies, floor cycles, and site logistics.
• Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, commitment, and reliability.
