Process Technician

Location: Perai, Penang
Employment Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: 4-2 Shift

Job Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing and production processes to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform machine and process setup according to established work instructions and specifications.
• Monitor production processes, machine parameters, product quality and yield.
• Troubleshoot basic process, machine and production issues and escalate more complex problems to the Engineer.
• Assist Process Engineers in process improvement, engineering evaluation and troubleshooting activities.
• Support investigation of process abnormalities, defects and production issues.
• Perform basic data collection, recording and analysis for process performance.
• Assist in improving productivity, quality, yield, cycle time and process efficiency.
• Support setup, maintenance and verification of jigs, fixtures, tools and production equipment.
• Ensure production processes are carried out according to SOP, Work Instructions and quality requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to process activities.
• Follow all safety, EHS, quality and 5S requirements.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Perform other technical or production-related duties assigned by the supervisor or engineer.

Requirements

• SKM / Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics, Manufacturing Engineering or other related technical fields.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with manufacturing or technician experience will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery or production equipment is preferred.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to learn and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to work on shift.

Working Schedule

4-2 Shift Pattern

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 5:30 AM
• Shift arrangement is subject to operational requirements.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
