Job Summary

We are looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications. The successful candidate will work closely with UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Project Managers to deliver high-quality frontend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies.
• Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional web interfaces.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Implement responsive designs that work across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and resolution of frontend issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct unit and integration testing for frontend applications.
• Participate in code reviews and follow frontend development best practices.
• Collaborate with Backend Developers to ensure effective API and system integration.
• Work with QA teams to investigate and resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Support application deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution.
• Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and development practices.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as:
• React.js
• Angular
• Vue.js
• Good understanding of Responsive Web Design.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+ / TypeScript.
• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Familiarity with npm, Yarn, or similar package managers.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Knowledge of Webpack, Vite, or similar build tools is an advantage.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and tools such as Figma is a plus.
• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is an advantage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and software development lifecycle.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on user experience.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a development team.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience in banking, financial services, insurance, or other enterprise environments is an advantage

Pay: RM5,045.90 - RM11,583.06 per month
