Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions for multiple entities, including both operational and non-operational companies.
- Perform and monitor core accounting activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliation processes.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and other accounting schedules, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date accounting records while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.
- Administer intercompany transactions, including reconciliations, balances, and loan arrangements among related entities.
- Participate in system implementation and data migration projects, including the transition from Xero to NetSuite, while ensuring the integrity and completeness of financial data.
- Coordinate with external parties such as auditors, tax consultants, corporate secretaries, and other professional service providers.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at strengthening internal controls, improving accounting processes, and enhancing financial systems.
- Provide support for additional finance-related assignments and special projects when required.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an environment involving multiple legal entities.
- Strong understanding of accounting functions, including AP, AR, GL, month-end closing activities, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with accounting platforms such as Xero and NetSuite will be highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with intercompany accounting practices, including reconciliation and loan transactions.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other accounting software applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
