Job Description

Jeya Spices Production Pte Ltd is seeking a responsible and hands-on Logistics Coordinator / Driver to manage and support the movement of goods across our production, retail and distribution operations.

This is a combined logistics and driving role. The successful candidate will coordinate daily deliveries, plan delivery schedules and routes, maintain movement and inventory records, and personally carry out deliveries using the company’s vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate daily movement of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products between the production facility, retail outlets, suppliers and customers.

* Plan and organise daily delivery schedules and efficient delivery routes.

* Personally carry out deliveries and collections using the assigned company vehicle.

* Coordinate with production and retail teams to prioritise stock transfers and urgent deliveries.

* Monitor outgoing and incoming goods and maintain accurate delivery and stock-movement records.

* Check goods against delivery orders, invoices or transfer documents before dispatch and upon collection.

* Assist in monitoring inventory levels and highlight shortages or discrepancies to the relevant team.

* Coordinate collections and deliveries with suppliers and customers where required.

* Load and unload goods and ensure products are transported safely and hygienically.

* Maintain proper documentation and acknowledgement of completed deliveries.

* Conduct basic daily checks of the assigned vehicle and coordinate servicing or maintenance when required.

* Ensure compliance with company food-safety, hygiene and transportation procedures.

* Identify opportunities to improve delivery routes, scheduling and overall logistics efficiency.

* Provide operational and logistics support to the production team when required.

Requirements

* Valid driving licence recognised for driving the relevant vehicle in Singapore.

* Previous experience in logistics, delivery operations, warehousing, inventory control or a related field is preferred.

* Good knowledge of Singapore roads and delivery routes.

* Able to plan and coordinate multiple deliveries efficiently.

* Basic knowledge of inventory and stock-control procedures.

* Comfortable using digital systems, spreadsheets or applications for delivery and inventory records.

* Physically able to assist with loading and unloading goods.

* Responsible, organised and able to work independently.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Experience in food manufacturing, food distribution, FMCG or retail logistics would be an advantage.
