Responsibilities

Project & Technical Management

• Translate design intent into detailed shop drawings and technical specifications that contractors can follow.
• Review consultant inputs and coordinate design changes to keep work buildable and on schedule.

Site Coordination & Quality

• Conduct regular site inspections to check workmanship, materials, and adherence to design.
• Work with site supervisors and contractors to resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions quickly.

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare technical reports, method statements, and as-built records for handover.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian building codes, safety standards, and client specifications.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Around 5 years of practical experience on building or infrastructure projects in Malaysia.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Proficient in AutoCAD and experience with BIM or Revit, plus basic structural calculation tools.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian building codes, construction methods, and materials.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Clear communicator able to coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable making on-site technical decisions.
