We are currently expanding our procurement department and are looking for a highly motivated Purchasing Executive to join our team. If you have a strong background in sourcing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) equipment—specifically HVAC systems—we want to hear from you!

Role Overview

As a Purchasing Executive, your primary function will be sourcing, negotiating, and procuring HVAC equipment, components, and subcontracting services. You will work closely with our engineering and project teams to ensure all materials are procured on time, within budget, and in strict compliance with technical specifications. You will also play a key role in managing vendor relationships and ensuring strict adherence to the company's internal procurement policies and Purchase Order (PO) approval workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Procurement: Identify and source HVAC equipment (e.g., chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ducting, VRF systems, piping) and related engineering materials from reliable local and international suppliers.
• Commercial Negotiation: Evaluate supplier quotations and aggressively negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best Value for Money for the company.
• PO Processing & Compliance: Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders accurately. Ensure all purchasing activities strictly comply with Dykin's internal Procurement Policy, including obtaining mandatory Director-level approvals prior to PO dispatch.
• Vendor Management: Maintain, update, and evaluate the Approved Vendor List (AVL). Build strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers to ensure supply chain stability.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with Managers and Engineers to understand exact technical requirements, BOM (Bill of Materials), and project timelines.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze market pricing trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare regular procurement reports for Management review.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
