Role Description The Business Loan Advisor is a full-time role responsible for guiding clients through the process of obtaining suitable business financing from banks and other lending institutions. The advisor will assess clients’ financial health, analyze business performance, and recommend appropriate loan products and structures. Daily tasks include meeting with clients, collecting and reviewing financial documents, preparing loan applications, and coordinating with lenders to ensure timely approvals. The role also involves explaining loan terms, repayment obligations, and risk considerations to clients in clear, accessible language. This is a hybrid position based in WP Kuala Lumpur, with a mix of in-office client meetings and some work-from-home flexibility for administrative and analytical tasks.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, explain complex financial concepts, and manage client expectations.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client files, documentation requirements, and lender timelines.
• Customer service mindset with a focus on ethical conduct, confidentiality, and long-term client relationships.
• Experience in banking, lending, credit assessment, or business advisory is an advantage; proficiency in multiple languages commonly used in Malaysia is beneficial.
