Job Scope / Responsibilities

We are looking for an organised and responsible Admin & Halal Officer to manage general administrative duties and take ownership of our Halal Certification and ongoing compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Halal & Certification Compliance

• Manage and maintain the company's Halal Certification and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Maintain all halal documentation, records and supplier certificates.
• Verify halal status of ingredients and suppliers and follow up on required documentation.
• Coordinate halal renewals, submissions, audits and inspections with MUIS.
• Manage and maintain other relevant food-related certifications, licences and accreditations, including coordinating applications, renewals and required documentation.
• Ensure the company remains audit-ready and compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.

Administration

• Support the admin manager in handling day-to-day administrative duties and documentation.
• Maintain records, reports, trackers and filing systems.
• Assist with invoices, purchase orders and other administrative matters.
• Support management with general administrative and operational tasks.

Requirements

• Hold a valid MUIS Halal Competency Assessment (HCA) certificate if appointed as the Halal Assurance Officer.
• Previous experience managing MUIS Halal Certification will be good
• Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, central kitchen or F&B is an advantage.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
