Job Summary

Perform civil and structural engineering design and analysis for Good Class Bungalows, supporting project delivery and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities

·       Execute civil and structural engineering design tasks to develop safe and compliant bungalow structures.

·       Analyze structural components using engineering software to validate design integrity and performance.

·       Apply BS/EU structural design codes specifically for bungalow projects to ensure regulatory compliance.

·       Utilize design software such as Tekla, Tedds, Staad, Plaxis, Esteem, AutoCad, GStarCAD and SketchUp to produce accurate engineering models and drawings.

·       Collaboratewith Project Director and management by providing timely design updates and technical reports

·       Assist senior engineers in conducting visual on-site inspections and drafting detailed inspection reports when required

Required competencies and certifications

·                    Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering

·                    Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in civil/structural

·                    engineering design

Preferred competencies and qualifications

·                    Familiarity with local design standards and codes to enhance project  

·                    relevance and compliance
