Role Description

The Backend Engineer shall be responsible for the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of backend solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with specific expertise in ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM).

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and customise ServiceNow FSM modules, workflows, business rules, Script Includes, and integrations.

Support system testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post implementation support

Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and configuration details.

Work closely with the Business Analyst, Software Quality Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, and Product Manager throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

The Engineers in the team must have minimum 1 year experience implementing or supporting ServiceNow FSM solutions

The Engineers shall have ServiceNow Application Developer Skills, Scripting in ServiceNow Fundamentals, and preferably CAD certification

Skill Level

Competent professional with hands-on experience, capable of working independently on standard development tasks with occasional guidance from senior team members. Expected to contribute meaningfully to design discussions and take ownership of assigned modules or features
