Novyon Therapeutics is a Singapore-based biotechnologycompany developing next-generation in vivo immunotherapies using targeted lipidnanoparticle delivery technologies. We are looking for a motivated and highly organizedTechnical Operations Associate / Manager with a life-science or biomedicalbackground to work closely with the founders and Covering CEO. The rolecombines technical project coordination, proposal and presentation development,external manufacturing and preclinical coordination, grant support, andday-to-day company operations.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Project Coordination and Development
- Support planning, tracking, and coordination of thecompany’s technical development activities, including lipid and LNPdevelopment, manufacturing, characterization, and preclinical studies.
- Work closely with the founders to translatescientific data and development plans into clear presentations, technicalsummaries, project plans, and decision-making materials.
- Track technical milestones, timelines, deliverables,risks, meeting outcomes, and follow-up actions across internal and externalworkstreams.
CDMO, GMP Manufacturing and Preclinical Coordination
- Coordinate with contract development andmanufacturing organizations (CDMOs) and other external partners for scale-upand GMP manufacturing of key lipids and LNP formulations.
- Support preparation and review of technicaldocumentation, specifications, quotations, timelines, sample requirements, andmanufacturing plans.
- Coordinate with CROs and research partners forpreclinical studies, including toxicology, biodistribution,pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic, and efficacy studies, including non-humanprimate studies where applicable.
- Maintain organized records of manufacturing batches,analytical results, study plans, reports, and external correspondence.
Grant and Proposal Support
- Work closely with the founders to prepare technicalpresentations, grant proposals, project descriptions, milestones, budgets, andsupporting documents for funding agencies.
- Help compile scientific data, development plans,manufacturing requirements, market information, and supporting evidence intoclear and persuasive funding materials.
- Track grant deliverables, reporting requirements,timelines, and follow-up actions.
IP Licensing, Business Development and InvestorSupport
- Support coordination with relevant stakeholders onpatent licensing, technology transfer, and related documentation.
- Assist in preparing non-confidential technologysummaries, pitch decks, company presentations, investor briefing materials, anddata-room documents.
- Conduct desktop research on relevant technologies,competitors, potential partners, investors, CDMOs, CROs, and marketdevelopments.
- Support meetings with partners, investors,consultants, and service providers, including preparation of materials, meetingnotes, and follow-up actions.
Company Operations and Administration
- Support day-to-day company operations, includingscheduling, documentation, record keeping, procurement coordination, andfollow-up on action items.
- Maintain organized company records, includingagreements, grant documents, technical reports, investor materials, meetingnotes, and confidential files.
- Coordinate with the corporate secretary,accountants, consultants, vendors, and other service providers as required.
- Help establish practical internal processes and SOPsas the company grows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology,Pharmaceutical Science, Biotechnology, Immunology, Life Sciences, Bioengineering,or a closely related technical discipline.
- Ability to understand scientific and technicalinformation and communicate it clearly in presentations, proposals, reports,and discussions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills inEnglish.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail,and ability to independently follow through on multiple workstreams.
- Comfortable working across scientific,manufacturing, business, regulatory, legal, and operational topics in anearly-stage biotech environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularlyPowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- High level of integrity, discretion,professionalism, and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in biotech, pharmaceuticaldevelopment, biomedical research, drug delivery, LNPs, RNA therapeutics,cell/gene therapy, process development, CMC, CDMO/CRO coordination, technologytransfer, or related areas.
- Experience preparing scientific presentations, grantproposals, technical reports, or project documentation.
- Exposure to GMP manufacturing, formulationdevelopment, analytical characterization, preclinical development, toxicology,or non-human primate studies would be advantageous.
- Prior exposure to intellectual property licensing,grant management, fundraising, business development, or startup operationswould be an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Fresh graduates with a strong technical foundation,maturity, initiative, communication skills, and willingness to learn are alsoencouraged to apply.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate combines a solid technicalfoundation with strong organization and communication skills. He or she shouldbe able to understand scientific discussions, prepare clear technicalpresentations and proposals under close guidance from the founders, coordinateeffectively with CDMOs, CROs and other external partners, and take ownership ofoperational follow-up. The candidate should be proactive, reliable, humble,adaptable, and comfortable helping build an early-stage biotechnology companyfrom the ground up.
