As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for electrical and infrastructure projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare accurate cost analyses.
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and administer subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and contract documentation.
• Monitor project costs and ensure expenditure remains within the approved budget.
• Prepare progress claims, payment certifications, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor claims and variations.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and clients to ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts, and commercial documentation.
• Identify commercial risks and recommend cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant quantity surveying experience in electrical, M&E, utility, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in power cable installation, electrical distribution, substations, or utility works will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of contract administration and construction cost management.
• Familiarity with standard forms of construction contracts.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with quantity surveying or estimating software is an advantage.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction practices and electrical infrastructure projects.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
