About the Roles

Join a permanent opportunity as an Automation Software Engineer (C# Programming) with a leading organisation in the manufacture of general-purpose machinery industry. Based in Pioneer, this role offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM and a competitive salary package of up to $5,800. You will be involved in developing and supporting customised automation solutions from design through to implementation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and develop machine control software for complete automation systems, from initial concept stages to on-site deployment.
• Support the development of circuit designs for machine control systems used in full-line automation projects.
• Configure, install, and troubleshoot automation equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide technical assistance and on-site support for automation machines.
• Travel overseas when required to support project activities.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for customised machines within project deadlines.
• Follow established workflows, procedures, and operational systems.
• Deliver automation projects according to customer specifications and agreed timelines.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Possess a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Have relevant experience in machine control software design and development.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Visual C# or C++ programming.
• Knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCAT programming will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of computer vision, image processing, or SECS/GEM will be advantageous.
• Experience in designing and troubleshooting servo and motion control systems.
