About the role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) in total compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements. The role serves as the Management Representative for all external, internal, and customer quality audits, and acts as the senior point of contact for strategic customers regarding severe quality escapes and non-conformance reports.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) in total compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements

• Approve and authorize all quality procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and control plans across the organization

• Serve as the Management Representative (MR) or lead host for all external, internal, and customer quality audits

• Formulate long-term quality policies and objectives aligned with the company's overall business strategy

• Oversee and optimize all incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspection frameworks to ensure zero-defect escapes

• Own the Material Review Board (MRB) process, making final executive decisions on the disposition of high-value non-conforming materials

• Manage the department's operational budget, including testing equipment capital expenditure (CapEx) and headcount resources

• Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering Directors to optimize process capability (Cp/Cpk) and minimize shop-floor scrap/rework

• Govern the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase, signing off on First Article Inspections (FAI), process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), and PFMEAs

• Act as the senior point of contact for strategic customers regarding severe quality escapes, non-conformance (NC) reports, and chronic feedback

About you

• Lead, mentor, and build the capability of the entire Quality Department, including Assistant Managers and Engineers

• Design overall manpower strategy, succession planning, and skills-matrix training frameworks for the QC/QA teams

• Foster a corporate culture of quality ownership across all levels of the manufacturing facility

• Present monthly quality performance matrices (KPIs, Cost of Poor Quality, scrap trends) directly to the executive board

• Sponsor and drive plant-wide Continuous Improvement initiatives leveraging Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and Poka-Yoke methodologies

• Develop and execute the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) framework, holding vendor networks accountable to strict quality benchmarks

• Lead high-level supplier audits and establish collaborative improvement programs for underperforming vendors

• Govern the site-wide calibration program for all laboratory testing equipment and precision measurement tools
