We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Techno-Functional Analyst with a strong background in Accounting and Finance business processes to support and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials. The ideal candidate will act as the primary bridge between Finance business users and Oracle technical teams, translating business requirements into functional solutions while possessing enough technical acumen to dive into backend tables, read code, and perform root-cause troubleshooting.

This is a functional-first techno-functional role, requiring solid Finance domain expertise along with practical Oracle EBS technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with developers and independently diagnose system issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Finance business users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Support and maintain Oracle EBS R12 Financial modules, including module configuration, end-to-end troubleshooting, and functional enhancements.
• Read and analyze PL/SQL code, packages, custom triggers, and workflows to diagnose production bugs, interface failures, and data discrepancies.
• Utilize knowledge of Oracle EBS schema and table joins (merging tables across GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PO, SLA) to query data, write validation scripts, and troubleshoot reporting issues.
• Prepare functional design documents (MD050) and collaborate with technical developers on custom code, extensions, interfaces, and reports (CEMLI/RICEFW).
• Drive system testing (UAT), solution deployment, and post-production hypercare support.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on complex technical and functional issues in production environments.
• Coordinate seamlessly with onsite and offshore technical teams for enhancements and project deliverables.
• Maintain complete documentation for business processes, functional specifications, solution designs, and system changes.
• Provide key support during financial month-end and year-end closing cycles.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8+ years of experience working with Oracle EBS Financials (R12 / R12.2) in a Techno-Functional capacity.
• Strong Functional Expertise in Core Financial Modules:
• General Ledger (GL) & Subledger Accounting (SLA)
• Accounts Payable (AP) & Vendor Invoice Processing
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Cash Management (CM)
• Purchase Orders (PO) / Accrual Accounting
• Mandatory Technical & Analytical Skills:
• Table Merging & Data Schema: Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS data models, table joins, and merging subledger tables (e.g., AP_INVOICES_ALL, AP_PAYMENT_SCHEDULES_ALL, RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_ALL, GL_JE_HEADERS, XLA_EVENTS, etc.) to run queries and analyze data flow.
• Code Reading & Logic Analysis: Ability to read and trace PL/SQL packages, procedures, SQL scripts, API calls, and Workflow definitions to identify where business logic or system processes are failing.
• Hands-on Technical Troubleshooting: Proven ability to troubleshoot data issues, concurrent program failures, interface errors, SLA rule issues, and custom RICEFW components before escalating to pure developers.
• Strong understanding of standard Accounting and Finance business processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report).
• Demonstrated experience working directly with C-level/Senior Finance stakeholders and end-users.
• Experience writing formal specification documents (e.g., AIM methodology / OUM - MD050 functional specs).
• Technical awareness of Oracle EBS architecture, Forms, Reports, XML/BI Publisher, Interfaces, and Workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Semiconductor manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Exposure to Oracle Inventory (INV), Purchasing (PUR), and Order Management (OM) modules is highly desirable.
• Experience working with global, multi-currency, and multi-entity ERP implementations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
