Position Summary

The Kitchen Staff is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness. The role supports the smooth daily operations of the kitchen and ensures food is prepared safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, marinating, and portioning food.

• Cook and present menu items according to recipes and company standards.

• Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, food preparation areas, and equipment.

• Store food properly and monitor stock rotation using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.

• Assist in receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.

• Monitor food quality and report any spoilage or shortages to the Supervisor or Chef.

• Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.

• Assist with stock counts and inventory control.

• Support catering, events, and special functions when required.

• Work closely with the service team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

• Perform opening and closing kitchen duties.

• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Head Chef, Kitchen Supervisor, or F&B Manager.
  

Requirements

• Minimum secondary school education or equivalent.

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.

• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies.

Preferred Skills

• Food Hygiene Certificate (Basic Food Hygiene Course) is an advantage.

• Good time management and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

• Head Chef / Kitchen Supervisor / F&B Manager

The 4-storey clubhouse prides itself with a wide range of amenities such as chalets, swimming pool, karaoke lounge, members' lounge, spa, gym and bowling alley to cater to the diverse interests of our members and their guests.
