Supervise and inspect siteworks to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and statutory requirements, ensuring project integrity and regulatory adherence
Monitor construction progress, quality, workmanship, and site safety to maintain project standards and minimize risks
Inspect materials and witness site inspections and testing to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications
Review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and related project documents to confirm accuracy and alignment with project requirements
Maintain accurate site records and progress reports to provide transparent and up-to-date project documentation
Coordinate effectively with the Resident Engineer, contractors, consultants, and authorities to facilitate smooth project execution and communication
Monitor defects, oversee rectification works, and manage project handover to ensure completion meets quality and contractual standards
Perform duties of a Resident Technical Officer in accordance with the Building Control Act and relevant regulations to uphold legal and safety standards
Required competencies and certifications
Registered Resident Technical Officer with IES/ACES
Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
