Key Responsibilities

Business Growth

• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Identify new customers, industries, and market opportunities.
• Expand Jokia's customer base across retail, wholesale, foodservice, hospitality, and manufacturing sectors.
• Drive sustainable revenue growth through new business acquisition.

Sales & Customer Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and long-term supply contracts.
• Lead major sales presentations and business proposals.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling.

Strategic Partnerships

• Develop partnerships with suppliers, distributors, logistics providers, and strategic business partners.
• Explore collaborations that strengthen Jokia's competitive position.
• Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry meetings.

Market Development

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Identify emerging food trends and customer demands.
• Recommend new product lines and business opportunities.
• Evaluate opportunities for regional expansion.

Leadership

• Lead and mentor the Business Development and Sales team.
• Set sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching.
• Work closely with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and HR to support business growth.

Financial Management

• Prepare annual sales forecasts and business plans.
• Monitor revenue performance and profitability.
• Ensure business development activities achieve target margins.
• Manage departmental budgets effectively.

Corporate Strategy

• Advise Management on growth opportunities and market positioning.
• Develop long-term strategic plans.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, or new business initiatives when applicable.

Requirements

• Minimum 8–10 years of business development or sales management experience.
• Experience within the food manufacturing, FMCG, wholesale, logistics, or cold chain industry is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to generate new business and grow revenue.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to travel when required.
