Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Household Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private residence. This role encompasses managing household schedules, supervising household staff, coordinating maintenance works, handling administrative matters, and ensuring the smooth and seamless running of the household in accordance with the family's standards and requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the household schedule and calendar, including arranging appointments for both personal and professional matters
• Handle household bills, payments, and records, and perform administrative duties to keep household affairs well organised
• Maintain proper and up-to-date records of household documents, invoices, approvals, service reports, vendor lists, and maintenance history
• Run errands and attend to ad-hoc tasks as and when required
• Supervise and coordinate household staff including housekeepers, private chefs, nannies, drivers, and other service personnel

• Plan and manage staff rosters, manpower arrangements, and shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times
• Monitor household inventory and ensure essential supplies are consistently replenished and well maintained
• Ensure all household staff adhere to established standards, procedures, and daily routines

• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise home maintenance, servicing, repair works, cleaning, pest control, and other facilities-related matters
• Liaise with building management, landlords, contractors, and service providers on all maintenance and operational matters
• Monitor ongoing maintenance or renovation projects to ensure timely completion and quality standards are upheld
• Ensure the residence is maintained in excellent, safe, clean, and fully functional condition at all times

• Source and evaluate suitable vendors, contractors, and suppliers for household needs
• Obtain and compare quotations and prepare recommendations for approval
• Research and propose suitable household items, furnishings, fixtures, appliances, and equipment with consideration for functionality, durability, cost, and aesthetics
• Coordinate purchases, deliveries, installations, and any required follow-up services
• Assist in planning and coordinating household events, private gatherings, and family function
• Provide logistical support for travel arrangements including flights, transportation, accommodation, and local setup requirements
• Ensure all arrangements are executed smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standard
• Prepare, maintain, and regularly update household SOPs, operational manuals, and management documentation
• Develop and manage equipment manuals, inventory lists, vendor directories, maintenance checklists, and daily operational checklists

Job Requirements

• Prior experience in a Household Manager, Estate Manager, Personal Assistant, Butler, or similar household management role is preferred
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality at all times
• Able to supervise household staff and liaise effectively with external service providers
Willing to travel if needed
