About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, maintain the highest standards of food quality and hygiene, manage inventory and food costs, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all kitchen staff and daily kitchen operations.
• Plan, develop, and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
• Ensure consistent quality, taste, presentation, and portion control of all dishes.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in compliance with local regulations.
• Manage food inventory, purchasing, and supplier relationships.
• Monitor food costs and minimize wastage while maintaining quality.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff.
• Prepare staff work schedules and ensure adequate manpower.
• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of food during service.
• Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary.
• Address customer feedback and implement continuous improvements.
• Work closely with management to achieve operational and financial objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong culinary knowledge across various cuisines (preferred).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
• Experience in menu planning, inventory management, and cost control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
