Job Summary

The Operations Executive (Matchday Operations & Logistics) will provide operational support across matchday delivery, venue logistics, security coordination, apparel operations and inventory management.

Working closely with the Operations team, the executive will play an important role in ensuring events and competitions are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high operational standard.

This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in major sporting events and football operations while working alongside an experienced Operations team.

Job Description

Matchday Operations

• Support the planning and execution of National Team matches, Singapore Premier League and major events
• Assist with venue setup and teardown, including equipment, branding, signage and operational areas
• Support the preparation of operational plans, venue layouts, runsheets and post-event reports
• Coordinate operational requirements with internal departments, stadium operators and external stakeholders
• Provide on-site operational support during matchdays, tournaments and special events

Logistics & Inventory

• Coordinate the movement, transportation and storage of operational equipment and event materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control
• Assist in warehouse organisation and inventory management
• Ensure operational equipment is prepared, maintained and available ahead of each event

Apparel Operations

• Support the coordination and distribution of National Team apparel and equipment
• Assist with stock tracking, size exchanges and replenishment
• Coordinate deliveries between suppliers, printers, warehouses and National Teams
• Support apparel preparation for training camps, competitions and official events
• Assist in maintaining accurate apparel inventory records

Security, Workforce & Accreditation Support

• Support workforce deployment for matchdays and events
• Assist with security planning and operational coordination
• Support accreditation preparation and access control arrangements
• Assist with venue inspections and operational readiness checks

Vendor & Operational Coordination

• Liaise with suppliers, contractors and service providers to support operational delivery
• Assist with quotations, procurement requests, purchase orders and vendor coordination
• Coordinate operational timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders

Administrative & Planning Support

• Prepare operational reports, presentations and planning documents
• Maintain operational records, checklists and documentation
• Support planning meetings and cross-functional coordination
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, SOPs and workflows

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Sports Management, Event Management, Logistics or a related discipline
• Preferably 1–3 years' experience in sports operations, event management, logistics, venue operations or a related field
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
• Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently while contributing as part of a team
• Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays to support matches and events
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Possession of a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence will be a strong advantage, as the role may require the transportation of operational equipment, apparel and event materials between venues, warehouses and event sites

The Football Association of Singapore is responsible for developing and advancing the game at all levels.
