Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Cook specializing in authentic Indian cuisine to prepare high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The candidate must be skilled in traditional Indian cooking techniques and capable of maintaining consistent taste, quality, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic North Indian and South Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, tandoori items, breads, and vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialties.
• Marinate, season, and prepare ingredients using traditional Indian spices and cooking methods.
• Ensure food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with company policies.
• Monitor stock levels, minimize food wastage, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain an efficient work area.
• Support kitchen operations during peak service periods and work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in preparing authentic Indian cuisine in a restaurant or commercial kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, tandoor operations, and regional Indian dishes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
