Student Support Mentor

Company: Goal Setterz Business Solutions Pte. Ltd.
Work Location: Cashew Road
Contract Period: 14 September 2026 to 19 November 2027

Working Hours

• Mondays to Fridays: 9.30 am to 4.30 pm

• Includes a 30-minute lunch break

Job Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring, guidance and general support to students.

• Build positive and trusting relationships with students.

• Support students in managing their behaviour, emotions and interpersonal relationships.

• Engage students individually or in small groups based on their support needs.

• Encourage students’ personal, social and emotional development.

• Monitor students’ well-being, attendance, behaviour and progress.

• Identify students who may require additional support and highlight concerns to the relevant school personnel.

• Assist students in developing resilience, self-confidence, responsibility and positive decision-making skills.

• Support the school in student engagement and intervention activities.

• Work closely with teachers, school personnel and other relevant stakeholders.

• Maintain proper documentation and records of student engagement and follow-up actions.

• Perform other student support duties assigned by the school.

Requirements

• Diploma in a relevant discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience working with youths, preferably in an educational or social service setting.

• Experience in youth mentoring, student support, counselling support or behaviour management will be advantageous.

• Patient, empathetic and able to establish rapport with youths.

• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to handle sensitive student matters professionally and maintain confidentiality.

• Responsible, emotionally resilient and able to work effectively with school personnel.

• Must be able to commit for the full contract period.
