Job Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the production department to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform regular inventory checks and maintain accurate inventory records for chemicals, PPE, and operational supplies.
• Handle, move, and transport inventory and production materials as part of daily operational activities.
• Raise Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor employee attendance, leave records, and coordinate payroll-related matters with HR.
• Prepare onboarding and resignation documentation, including Work Permit renewal coordination.
• Maintain the Chemical Warehouse and ensure proper storage of hazardous substances in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and safety regulations.
• Coordinate chemical waste disposal and maintain compliance with environmental and workplace safety requirements.
• Monitor daily electricity and water consumption, prepare monthly utility reports, and highlight abnormal trends.
• Support 6S initiatives, workplace inspections, internal audits, and customer or regulatory audits.
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Perform other operational and administrative duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum GCE O-Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Experience in inventory management, purchasing, warehouse operations, or production support will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good organisational, coordination, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable performing hands-on duties, including frequent inventory checks, handling stock, and carrying operational materials when required.
