We are seeking an IoT Solutions & Testing Specialist to bridge technical capabilities with customer needs by designing IoT architectures, performing bench testing, and supporting business development with tailored solutions and demos.

Job Summary

You will perform bench testing and validation on IoT devices and software, design tailored IoT solutions for BD proposals and client projects, and support pre-sales technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Design IoT system architectures and draft technical Bills of Materials (BOM) based on business development project requirements and client RFPs
• Set up benchtop testing environments to evaluate new IoT hardware, gateways, and sensors prior to field deployment
• Validate data transmission protocols such as MQTT, HTTP REST APIs, and Modbus between gateways and dashboards to ensure reliable communication
• Build and configure Proof-of-Concept (PoC) demo units to showcase custom IoT solutions during client sales presentations
• Support business development managers by addressing technical queries and explaining system capabilities in client meetings

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Nitec / Nitec (ITE) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields, demonstrating strong passion for IoT technology
• Understanding of end-to-end IoT architecture including sensors, gateways, protocols, and dashboards, and proficiency with testing tools such as Postman and MQTT Explorer
• Class 3 / 3A Driving License (advantageous for transporting PoC demo kits and testing hardware to client sites)
