Job Title: Resident Engineer (RE)

Job Summary
The Resident Engineer is responsible for supervising construction works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, contract specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements. The role involves coordinating with contractors, consultants, and authorities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and monitor site progress.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant Singapore regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and witness testing to ensure quality workmanship.
• Review and verify shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements.
• Monitor contractors' performance and resolve technical issues on site.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Maintain site records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
• Report project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Singapore is preferred where required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision.
• Good knowledge of Singapore building regulations, construction practices, and quality standards.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
