Company Overview

Focused on pregnancy care and gynecological issues such as fibroids, cysts, endometriosis, and menstrual disorders, we also provide sub-fertility and pre-pregnancy counseling. Located at Mount Alvernia Medical Centre D.

Job Summary

Provide comprehensive nursing care in an obstetrics and gynecology clinic by performing clinical procedures, managing patient operations scheduling, supporting doctors, and ensuring smooth clinic operations to enhance patient outcomes and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and perform CTG monitoring to assess fetal well-being during clinic visits
• Administer injections and perform venous therapies such as blood taking and IV therapy to support patient treatment plans
• Schedule and coordinate maternity and gynecological operations, including confirming, recalling, and following up on pending surgeries and arranging post-operative care appointments
• Provide financial counseling to patients regarding maternity admissions and gynecological procedures to facilitate informed decision-making
• Assist doctors during clinical procedures, including intrauterine insemination (IUI), ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Organize, track, and communicate laboratory results to doctors promptly for timely clinical review and decision-making
• Maintain adequate stock levels of IV/IM/SC drugs, consumables, and instruments to ensure uninterrupted clinical operations
• Train and supervise junior staff while effectively communicating with administrative teams and doctors to maintain high standards of patient care and clinic workflow

Required competencies and certifications

• Registration with Singapore Nursing Board
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification considered an advantage
• Proficient computer literacy to manage clinic documentation and scheduling systems
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Critical thinking skills to identify and solve clinical and operational challenges
• Service-oriented mindset with initiative and ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

• Work schedule: 5.5 days per week

We are a group practice clinic specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology since 2005.

Our practise are mainly focused on patient's pregnancy care. Besides pregnancy, we are too specialised in gynaecological issues like management of fibroids, cysts, endometriosis and other menstrual disorders. We also provide sub-fertility and pre-pregnancy counselling.

Currently we have a team of 4 doctors and 10 staff, and are looking forward to expand the team. Our clinic is situated in Mount Alvernia Medical Centre D. We are excited and looking forward to potential candidates to join our big family.
