Job Summary

This role focuses on outbound B2B telesales and business development to engage corporate clients, schedule consultations, and support corporate training growth for Ascendo Academy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily outbound B2B telesales calls to engage corporate clients across industries including SMEs, large corporations, and multinationals
• Clearly present Ascendo Academy’s corporate training programs and workforce upskilling solutions to potential clients
• Assess corporate clients’ training needs, business challenges, budget, and decision timelines to qualify leads
• Schedule qualified face-to-face or virtual business consultation appointments with corporate decision-makers
• Maintain accurate call logs, lead records, and appointment schedules in the CRM system for transparent follow-up
• Follow up with warm leads to confirm appointment attendance and address preliminary questions to improve show-up rates
• Support the business development team in building and nurturing corporate partnership pipelines
• Assist in preparing corporate proposals, client presentations, and training brochures for business meetings
• Participate in corporate outreach campaigns, industry networking events, and virtual fairs to generate leads and increase brand exposure
• Collaborate with senior BD team to track client feedback, follow up on proposals, and assist in closing deals
• Meet monthly and quarterly KPIs for business development and appointment setting as set by management

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum Nitec/Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
• Strong verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage corporate clients professionally
• Target-driven mindset with self-motivation and resilience to manage cold calling and sales pressure

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in telesales, B2B sales, corporate business development, or customer outreach
• Fresh graduates with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply
