Role Summary

We are seeking a customer-focused and results-driven Key Account Executive to manage and grow relationships with strategic customers across our business portfolio. This role is responsible for understanding client needs, delivering excellent service, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction. As part of a mid-sized Japanese organization, the successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to support business objectives while fostering strong, collaborative partnerships with key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with assigned key accounts to ensure high levels of client/ distributors satisfaction and retention.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients/distributors, responding to inquiries and coordinating solutions in a timely manner.
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and new business development within existing accounts.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, quotations, and account reviews.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Operations, Finance, and Product Management to meet client/distributors’ requirements.
• Monitor client/distributors performance, market trends, and competitor activities to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Negotiate commercial terms and manage contract renewals in accordance with company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate client/distributors records, sales forecasts, and activity reports using CRM systems and support management reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, key account management, sales, or business development.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Japanese companies or within a multicultural business environment.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of B2B sales processes and client/distributors relationship management best practices.
• Ability to interpret sales data and develop strategic account plans.
• Strong teamwork mindset with a client/distributors-centric approach.
