Responsibilities:

• To work hand in hand with the Trade Marketing Manager and other stakeholders in developing strategies and plans for designated channels. Analyze sales data and propose the right channel strategies to support sales growth.
• Conduct market analysis, competitor analysis, and sales data analysis to identify gaps and opportunities to support reporting, program, and activity planning.
• Measure, evaluate, and report on all activities within the portfolio. Example: Analyze and track exercises to measure promotional effectiveness.
• Manage promotion and pricing settings in the system, as well as monthly promotion tracking and progress monitoring.
• Conduct category reviews for assigned key accounts and recommend strategies (e.g., Local Key Accounts, Perfect Store) to enhance category growth.
• Assist in driving trade fundamentals (i.e., establishing the right merchandising guidelines, types of POSMs, and Picture of Success by channel).
• Conduct monthly briefings on trade programs for the sales team.
• Coordinate POSM implementation and ensure execution in the market according to communication guidelines.
• Conduct monthly business reviews with relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct market visits and surveys to identify opportunities and improve and maintain standards of availability, price compliance, activation, and in-store execution.
• Create and maintain the trade activity calendar by working closely with relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive execution of trade marketing plans.
• Ensure clear and effective communication within the team and with other stakeholders.
• Manage budget tracking and control expenditures to stay within budget while achieving desired outcomes.
• Present insights and recommendations to management.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of a Diploma in a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in trade marketing and field sales in a related industry will be an added advantage.
• Computer literate in MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong accountability.
• Work closely with the field team to gain deeper market insights.
• Possess strong planning skills, good business acumen, effective communication and presentation skills, and strong commercial awareness.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
