Requirements for a Construction Protégé:

• Educational Background:
• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or those with minimal experience are encourage to apply.

Role of a Protégé:

Learning and Development:

• Observe and participate in the planning, execution, and monitoring of construction projects.
• Assist in interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Learn about cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement processes.

Supportive Tasks:

• Provide assistance to the site supervisor or project manager in day-to-day activities.
• Maintain records of project progress and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers under the mentor's supervision.

Site Management:

• Assist in ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Monitor quality control measures as guided by the mentor.
• Contribute to resolving on-site challenges effectively.

Technical Application:

• Apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios under supervision.
• Experiment with construction tools and technologies.

Opportunities for Growth:
