Assembly Technician

We are looking for an Assembly Technician to support manufacturing and assembly operations in Penang.

The role involves mechanical and electrical assembly, reading engineering drawings, module assembly and basic inspection activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly according to work instructions.
• Read and understand engineering drawings.
• Assemble modules and components accurately.
• Perform basic parts inspection and identify assembly issues.
• Ensure proper alignment and fitting of components.
• Follow 5S and continuous improvement practices.
• Maintain quality and safety standards during assembly activities.
• Work closely with team members to achieve production targets.
• Report technical or quality issues to the relevant supervisor.

Requirements

• SKM Level 2 / 3, Certificate or Diploma.
• Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical assembly.
• Ability to read engineering drawings is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.

No prior experience may be considered for candidates with relevant technical qualifications.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
